What is Laser Hardening?
Laser hardening is an advanced thermal processing technology that uses a high-power laser beam to rapidly heat the metal surface to the hardening temperature. The surface then self-cools through the base material and transforms into a martensitic structure with high hardness.
This process effectively increases surface hardness and wear resistance, prolongs die life and minimizes thermal deformation.
